For many, the concept of home is deeply personal, intertwined with memory, emotions, and identity. It is where our material surroundings meet our imaginative sense of self, creating a place that feels familiar, safe, and uniquely ours. Many find themselves calling home a particular location or place, one filled with childhood nostalgia or important memories. However, some people grew up with these memories scattered everywhere, unable to call one place home. My brother was forced to move countries every three years since he was born, resetting his life every time, leaving important memories behind each time. In this audio portrait, you will hear him talk about the importance of the internet, and how he was able to take that sense of comfort with him no matter where he went.
